Picking the right consult
Let's find what's best for you in your baby. Depending on the severity of the case, follow up may be required in person or over the phone. Every consult will include taking a health history, assessment of current problems and verbal AND written instruction to help you continue making breastfeeding a success.
1-on-1 Lactation consult
$139 inital, $89 follow up A la carte pricing
In-Home
Consult offered in the privacy and convenience of your own home.
Most mom's will have problems resolved within the first visit. Most visits are 60-90 minutes.

Have baby ready for a feeding at time of visit.

Have all breastfeeding tools you are currently using.

Copies of your delivery record, any notes from your doctor including but not limited to weights of your baby.
Each assessment will be followed up with an email including your tailored lactation plan.
**Travel/convenience fees incurred. Most distances within SL County are approximately $25
Virtual Platform
Surprisingly, virtual consults have been popular to establish care, promote early access to professional support and getting on the right track from the get go. Virtual consults are usually conducted the same way as in-home visits, lasting 60-90 minutes.

Have an extra set of hands available (this is a great way to involve your partner!) to help video while you are holding baby.
Each assessment will be followed up with an email including your tailored lactation plan.
Phone Consults
First 10 minutes: $20
10 minutes increments following: $10
Sometimes quick little questions come up and consulting quickly is all you need to get back on track.
